Filgotinib 100 mg is a dose used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and ulcerative colitis (UC). In clinical trials, patients receiving 100 mg of filgotinib daily showed significant improvements in various response rates compared to placebo, including ACR20, ACR50, ACR70, Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ), and DAS28-CRP rate in RA patients [65][66]. For UC, filgotinib 100 mg was used in induction and maintenance studies, where it showed efficacy in inducing and maintaining clinical remission compared to placebo.23

Filgotinib 100 mg is also used in combination with methotrexate (MTX) for RA patients who have an inadequate response to MTX [65]. In patients aged 65 years and older with UC, the recommended dose is 100 mg once daily for maintenance treatment, and it can be escalated to 200 mg once daily in case of a flare of the disease.2

Filgotinib 100 mg is recommended for patients with moderate or severe renal impairment, with a creatinine clearance (CrCl) between 15 to less than 60 mL/min.
